“Dan built our architecturally designed home in Mapua, commencing in 2021 and completing the project in mid-June 2022. The home was designed by our youngest son, with close creative input from Vicki. After speaking with several builders and building companies throughout the Tasman region, we chose Dan to build our home, despite not knowing any local builders, as we were new to the Nelson/Tasman area.

Dan was very easy to deal with and incredibly thorough throughout the build. Vicki and I were consulted every step of the way, even while we were locked down in Auckland for nearly five months during construction. It became clear that Dan has a genuine passion for building.

Whenever we visited the site, we noticed how clean, organised and well-run the build was. Dan and his apprentice(s) maintained a tidy site at all times, and each evening the area was left clean and safe, making it easy for us to walk through and see the progress of our future home.

We were also impressed by the professionalism of the subcontractors Dan engaged. Every tradesperson was excellent to deal with and delivered outstanding workmanship within their area of expertise. It was evident that Dan works with trusted subcontractors he has carefully selected and built strong working relationships with over time.

The project was well managed, with regular onsite meetings held whenever possible to review progress and discuss any changes along the way.

There is only one builder, Vicki, and I would contact for any future large project or new build in the Nelson/Tasman region.
